The New Mexico Science Fiesta is one of the state's largest celebrations of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). The event is a multi-day, community-wide extravaganza that is sure to inspire your curiosity, creativity, and innovation.
The goal of this workshop is to identify research directions and priorities for the next generation of power electronics and energy conversion systems for the electric grid, transportation, and national security.

Farmington Community Conversations: Powering up a new equitable paradigm to advance and secure our aging electric grid
Montana State University will host DEPSCoR DAY, a full-day workshop, on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Program officers from the Department of Defense (DoD) will present funding opportunities available through the DoD Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DEPSCoR) and related DoD research programs.
Learn how to use the UNIX command line, analytical workflows and public tools to independently analyze sequencing data, plus how to visualize and render data using graphing tools. This workshop covers analyzing RNA-Seq data using popular DE tools and also includes a segment on Single Cell sequencing / analysis.
Attendance is free for NM students and researchers, and discounted for those in other INBRE states!
